"Multimedia Databases: Design, implementation and use in language teaching applications".

This work was entered in the broader field of new technologies, especially multimedia technology, multimedia databases, Databases that can manage text, image and sound, and the Science of Language.
We described the need for the new technological capabilities and media - especially interactive multimedia learning process in more than one language and in the implementation process of language programs. Then:
a. describes the need to develop modern tools for control, storage, management and transmission of "linguistic information", such as Multimedia Databases, which can support language programs,
b. describes the structure and nature of these bases, and
c. out key considerations for designing more appropriate and workable tools and their control.
